Florence Nightingale Hospital is founded in 1989 as a small and ambitious healthcare center with 50 beds. Today it has become a large hospital with international standards and measures that have been achieved with more than 2000 open heart surgeries performed successfully per year. With Avrupa Florence Nightingale, Gayrettepe Florence Nightingale, Kadıköy Florence Nightingale and medical centers opening later on, Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals have become one of the leading healthcare groups of Turkey.
As Leo Villa Training and Consultancy we have completed a project for Joint Commission International (JCI) Consultancy, Joint Commission International (JCI) Trainings, Doküman Translation, Interactive Internal Audit Training and Internal Audit Question Bank for Şişli and Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospitals.
In our project that we carried out using Joint Commission International (JCI) Accreditation Standards for Hospitals (5th Edition), Istanbul Florence Nightingale Hospital has been successfully accredited by JCI for the second time and Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital has been successfully accredited for the fifth time.
With our Joint Commission International (JCI) Consultancy services, our team routinely visited and supported the hospital in all areas of need during the re-accreditation process.
We carried out a separate project for Internal Audits (Self Assessment) of Group Florence Nightingale Hospitals and completed an Interactive Internal Audit Training to a team of 45 internal auditors. Later on, we supported this training with an Internal Audit Question Bank mainly consisting Joint Commission International (JCI) Standards.
Also, documents necessary for the “Document Review” session of Joint Commission International (JCI) accreditation have been reviewed for compliance to standards defined in “Survey Process Guide”. Revisions have been made by providing feedback and successfully translated between Turkish – English language. A total of 870 pages of document translation has been done for accreditation of both hospitals.
Both hospitals successfully completed the Joint Commission International (JCI) reaccreditation process at the end of a total of 10 days audit.
